LEOriginals is owned by glass artist Linda Elmore, and focuses on one-of-a-kind hand-crafted jewelry. One special focus is jewelry made from recycled wine bottles: in a process taking over 40 hours, the bottles are crushed, melted into glass rods, and then used to make beads in lovely blues, greens and ambers. Linda makes the beads and jewelry on-site at the store, and also offers jewelry classes at this location.
Sandy's Peanut Brittle is owned by 'culinary artist' Sandy Smith. Sandy's recipe's have earned her "Indiana Artisan" status, and include Peanut, Cajun, Almond, Cashew and Wine brittles. In addition, Sandy offers Brittle Ice Cream Topping, and is introducing Chocolate, Chocolate Walnut and Peanut Butter Fudges. All of Sandy's treats are made on-site at the store, and the sweet fragrances not only broadcast when the 'chef is in the house,' they also tempt your sweet-tooth!
Grateful Heart Pottery contributes one-of-a-kind pottery created by owner and artist / potter Diane Gee. While Diane spends most of her days off-site, creating in her studio, she is available in the store most Tuesday and Friday afternoons, or by appointment. Diane creates pieces within one of six themes chosen each year, and will be hosting new show openings in the store's Gallery Room every two months throughout the year. Diane also offers her "Independence Series" of functional pottery that she customizes for individuals with Special Needs. |
